In Italy, boats with an engine output of up to 40 HP or 29 kW can also be rented without a license, provided they are registered there. Today it houses a gamekeeper station and is above all a natural spectacle.

The three smallest islands in the archipelago - Pianosa, Giannutri and Gorgona - are also known for their unspoiled nature. The entire archipelago is now a nature reserve with partially limited access - as if made for exploring it on a boat tour.
