Even if the Theme di Uliveto does not offer any spa treatments, this place should be mentioned here. The small thermal baths of Uliveto (olive grove) are located a few kilometers east of Pisa, directly on the Arno River, at the feet of Monte Pisano. The town of Uliveto Terme itself is framed by a large quarry.
The water has been used for drinking cures for several hundred years and is said to be particularly good for gastrointestinal problems. The water can still be bottled today.
The thermal baths also have a public outdoor pool, which is beautifully situated between rocks and trees. However, the water is not warm thermal water.
