The quieter Lucca
After lively Florence, Lucca is quiet and tranquil. The small town on the edge of the Garfagnana offers visitors a medieval flair with city walls, museums and beautiful palaces, such as the Palazzo Pfanner, which now houses a clothing museum. From here you can either Hikes through the typical olive groves of Tuscany or you can go to the last foothills of the Garfagnana to experience this side of Tuscany. One attraction is the Grotta del Vento stalactite cave.
Apuan Riviera
On adventurous mountain roads, the journey takes you past the impressive marble quarries of Carrara down to the sea. Especially when vacationing with children in Tuscany, a bathing finish is just the right thing. On the long beaches of Forte dei Marmi, Lido dei Camaiore and Viareggio everyone will find the right place. This way the tour in Tuscany can end in a relaxed way.
